The Coordination Framework held its regular meeting on Monday, April 21, 2025, at Hadi al-Ameri’s office, where it confirmed that the elections will take place on the scheduled date, November 11, 2025.

In a statement issued by its media office, which was received by “Baghdad Today,” the Coordination Framework emphasized its commitment to holding the elections on time, stressing the importance of this event in strengthening Iraq’s democratic process.

The Coordination Framework also decided to participate in the upcoming elections through multiple lists, with plans to reunite into one parliamentary coalition under the name “Coordination Framework” after the elections.

On another note, the Coordination Framework expressed its condolences over the death of Pope Francis, noting his profound respect and spiritual standing in the hearts of many people around the world.

It is worth mentioning that the Iraqi Cabinet voted on April 9, 2025, to set November 11, 2025, as the date for the legislative elections.
