In this special interview, we sat down with Mark Eldridge, a Grammy-winning guitarist, keyboardist, and music producer, also known by his stage name, “Keper.” Mark has achieved wide recognition through his collaborations with global artists and his innovative approach to the music industry. In this conversation, Mark shares the secrets of his success and how he has managed to combine his passion for music with an entrepreneurial spirit.
Q: Hello Mark, let’s start by getting to know how your journey in music began. How did it all start?
Mark Eldridge (Keper): Thank you! The beginning was very natural for me. I grew up in a musical environment, and I’ve always had an interest in playing guitar and keys. What really pushed me to pursue my dream was my ability to combine my unique guitar style with innovation in sound production. That was the real beginning for me in the music world.
Q: Did you ever expect to reach the fame and awards like a Grammy?
Mark Eldridge (Keper): I never expected that. It’s the hard work and persistence that made it possible. My goal has always been to create music that resonates with people, that makes them think and feel, rather than just aiming for awards. But, of course, winning a Grammy was a moment of immense joy and recognition.
Q: When we talk about success, what does the word “success” mean to you in your world?
Mark Eldridge (Keper): Success, for me, isn’t defined by numbers or awards. Success is the ability to impact your audience, whether that’s through your voice or through a project you’re overseeing. Success is about leaving your own mark on the music world and staying true to yourself and your audience.
