Founded in 1999 as a private joint-stock company, Gulf Commercial Bank began its banking operations in Iraq on April 1, 2000, after obtaining an official license from the Central Bank of Iraq. The bank’s fully paid capital is 300 billion Iraqi dinars, and its headquarters is located in Baghdad, on Al-Saadoun Street, opposite Al-Alawiya Exchange.
